Zoo Nagera

Zoo Negara is Malaysia’s national zoo and one of the best places for families to visit. It is only 13 km from Kuala Lumpur. This open-concept zoo is 110 acres big and has more than 5,000 animals from 400 to 470 species, such as mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, and fish.

Zoo Negara is known for its “open habitat” idea, which means that more than 90% of the animals live in big enclosures that look a lot like their natural homes. The Giant Panda Conservation Centre, which is home to Malaysia’s famous pandas, is one of the best things about it. The zoo also has Malayan tigers, orangutans, and tapirs, which are rare and endangered species.
